ENGLISH FOR NON-NATIVE SPEAKER

For ESL students, I will provide an English immersive environment to give students the best possible opportunity to acquire a new language. I am proficient in Mandarin Chinese as well, so I can give minor explanations of grammar and usage in that language too. The most important thing for ESL students is to train them to think in English rather than simply using direct translation from their native languages. For ESL students who are advanced, I can train them in literary analysis of English texts as well.

I am certified to teach English as second language. The ultimate goal for ESL students is to think in English rather than translating their thoughts between English and their native languages. For them, I will provide an English immersive environment to give them the best possible opportunity to push their English level to that of native speakers. I am also proficient in Mandarin Chinese, so I can give explanations of the lesson content in Chinese when my Chinese students are at the beginner level.
